ABOUT
Transylvanian Concubines has been performing at the University Mall Theater for 6 years now, in one form or another. Originally comprised of Castle Transylvanians and Sincere Lust members, it has grown organically to it's current state of younger and newer faces (as well as the few lifers who continue to grace the stage on occassion.) This is our first convention we are throwing, but a number of the organizers are long-time members of the Rocky Community. Our hope is to provide an event that will be worth the money and travel you put toward it. What we have in store is a mixture of events that are tested and tried; as well as a few surprises that aren't normally seen at a convention.
If you have a good time, then we've done our job.
There has been some question within the community as to whether we are splitting the Rocky Horror scene by throwing this convention, particularly concerning the Sins of the Flesh convention in September. This is in no way our intention. If you have planned on going to the Sins con and cannot attend both, by all means attend the Sins con. We're sure you'll have a wonderful time with them and they have put a great deal of work into their event.
However; if the cost of going to California is restrictive, or if you are able to manage both conventions, we would certainly enjoy having you at our event.
This isn't about competition in the least; it's about offering Rocky fans a choice of events to attend. Some of our own cast is planning to go to the Sins con, others just can't manage it. And there's nothing worse than knowing there's a party happening and just not being able to get there.
This is for those people. The fans in the DELMARVA area, and our East Coast/Midwest family who can find it in their hearts and wallets to join us for our little party.
To those that choose to come, we welcome you heartily. To those who can't make it due to previous arrangements, have a drink on us!
